The weather at the nighthawks is always guaranteed to be wet so as long as you know that you can get yourself prepared and settle in for a damp ride and for sitting around in wet clothes. After lots of text we finally all met for the run up and luckily enough we even missed the worst of the weather. The tents were chucked up in quick time so the drinking could start. The burger van was very good I’m starting to appreciate the delicate taste of chip fat more and more. The band was ok but no one seemed to be paying much attention as the talk was about who was going to win the next day. As a good girl I was off to my bed before the witching hour struck but I heard that everyone had a good nite. I was evenly greatly surprised by a few of the Ancestors who made it to be before 7 am but a special mention must go to Billiard Ball for out lasting everyone and actually getting to him bed before everyone had left the site.
