Roe Riders MCC Rock Night
Well this time I did manage to take a camera with me but no I don’t get any pictures as my flash wouldn’t work. It was a lovely night for a change but we decided not to camp even though there were good facilities. The night kicked off with some decent rock music on the stereo before a local band took to the stage. I was told the name but with advancing years my memory isn’t what it used to be. There was a raffle with 3 prizes but who won and what they were was a mystery as there was too much yakking going on at our table. There was a fair turn out of clubs from around the Limavady area and since at least one Ancestor there the place was swinging. There was plenty of hard parking, the chippy van did a mean cup of tea and the girls were very friendly and up for a laugh, the venue was top notice with plenty of room and smoking area so I was happy. As usual we disappeared off early but after a very good night. It was only as we were leaving that we found it was the clubs first Anniversary party and that they will hopefully have a rally next year. So congratulations to the Roe Riders for another successful rock night and on their first anniversary. I’ll be there for their first rally!
